A secret organization scavenges alien technology.
Like Doctor Who, this series is pretty light. It seems good so far.

Watch Doctor Who - (2005 show) seasons 1 and 2 first.
s01e01 - 2006-10-22 - Everything Changes ∞
- 0:50 -- Oh god, the gap in her teeth!
- 2:20 -- Smart woman. Mind you, I would have removed the jacket to reduce visibility.
- 2:50 -- Estrogen (he's pronouncing it wrong)
- 5:30 -- If only they had a psychologist on staff. One specializing in, I dunno, grief counseling or motivational speaking or something.
- 7:50 -- Is she a fucking maid or something?
- 8:50 -- Yes little girl, you can't break up a fight like that. Use some of that training you ought to have.
- 10:00 -- Why would she sneakily fast-follow but then call out.
- 12:40 -- She's smart, why didn't she realise she was being tricked into running?
- How did they exit past her so quickly?
- 14:00 -- "What's the matter, Gwen, are you seeing ghosts?" .. to which she doesn't respond. How rude.
- 28:00 -- "That is so Welsh."
- 30:20 -- Except they took the glove outside, which is alien isn't it?
-
31:00 -- This is Torchwood 3, Torchwood 1 was in London, destroyed in the battle. Torchwood 2 is an office in Glasgow, very strange man. Torchwood 3, Cardiff. Torchwood 4 has kind of gone missing, but we'll find it one day.
- Reminds me of Babylon 5 - (1994 show)'s stations.
- 34:50 -- Is she even single? Holy shit dude, that is so wrong.
- 36:20 -- Consequences, dude.
- .. well well now consequences indeed.
- 37:30 -- I would have used pen-and-paper, written two copies and hidden one. The one in the open would get found by Torchwood, and the hidden one would eventually get found by me.
- 47:00 -- Called it.
- 49:00 -- .. the right sort of doctor.
- 51:00 -- Yeah, I'll join an organization that drives people mad, then to murder then to suicide.
s01e02 - 2006-10-22 - Day One ∞
The entire "outside the government" thing needs a backstory, since it was founded by an earlier queen of England.
- 2:00 -- I know too much about objects entering the atmosphere for my disbelief to be suspended. =(
- 3:30 -- They'd be approached immediately.
- 4:30 -- How the fuck could the name mean anything. Does the military actually know Harkness. How did they get through the perimeter of police, then the perimeter of military?
- "It's a shame your tool isn't big enough for the job."
- 7:20 -- Alien mist-rape.
- 8:00 -- It's not sexist at all. Honest. A man could also go up to female security, force-kiss and get in no problem, right? It's definitely not sexual assault.
- 9:00 -- This is some sort of meta-rape.
- Oh, it's murder. That makes the explanation easier.
- 11:00 -- Why couldn't she stay on with the police?
- Again with the saying of "Torchwood". So everyone knows about them?
- 13:00 -- "You have a stash of bodies?" .. needs an explanation.
- They witnessed her making a call. Therefore they have the time and location of a call, and can trace its owner and destination. They know who the host is.
- 15:00 -- They don't know where it came from, since it was curving when it entered. Do they have information from it outside of the atmosphere? Was it going straight on its approach to Earth?
-
17:10 -- Uh, it's relatively simple. You know the network of cameras. You know the timestamp and location of the primary. Check the timestamp and location of nearby ones. Estimate direction and speed of travel to pick up the trail on another camera. Continue through camera hops.
- Do this the right way the one time, then automate it for future use.
- 18:50 -- Wasn't she a cop? I guess she's wasn't a good one.
- 20:30 -- I didn't catch why they wouldn't need to keep her in an impermeable container.
- 21:45 -- Terrible cop.
- 22:10 -- Terrible guy.
- 22:30 -- Terrible team.
- Why would she be left alone? She's new and all that.
- 24:20 -- Alien wants sex. Spare aliens causing trouble. It seems to work out.
- 34:30 -- So he's done that before then?
- 36:10 -- Yep, I'd visit all my asshole exes too.
- 38:40 -- Let's just gloss over how he knows it's a fertility clinic.
- 39:10 -- Everyone could hear him scream.
- 39:30 -- Yes she knows how to use a gun. She was carrying.
- 40:00 -- Again they're just a bunch of people with guns. Wouldn't it be handy to have a police officer in uniform?
- 40:30 -- There's a bed in that room? Whaa...
- 43:50 -- Isn't that shield doodad handy? And its battery died just in time for the episode's end.
- All those men died, but it's okay because one single woman lived!
s01e03 - 2006-10-29 - Ghost Machine ∞
- 2:10 -- Bad cop is bad.
- 5:00 -- Lots and lots of CCTV. It's so pervasive they feel it's okay to slip it into television as a major plot device.
- 8:30 -- Gwen's "woman" keeps calling her at work. What's the fucking deal here?
- 10:20 -- Well it's an emotional leftover scanner thingy. Duh. I forget the name of the psychic power.
- 16:45 -- Ugh. Psychic bullshit.
- 17:45 -- If only they had a grief counsellor.
- 18:00 -- Again, didn't she have a gun on her before? I guess I just mistook that chunky thing at her side for one.
- 19:10 -- Target-practice rapeyness.
- 20:35 -- Oh he blinked. Sigh.
- 20:45 -- Two guns. Fuck right off.
- 22:10 -- God dammit, her boyfriend is such a woman.
- 22:45 -- So yeah he's obsessed. Perhaps tracking down other rapes around that time could help.
- 25:10 -- Called it, and called it.
- 29:00 -- Scrawny boy shouldn't be pissing off mean old men.
- 30:10 -- Terrible 70s chase music.
- 36:20 -- Alongside a grief counsellor, they need a science fiction reader.
- 44:00 -- See the thing about knives is they're not fucking light sabres. She isn't some rigid surface he's lunging on, and they both have a sense of touch. Maybe he's a bumbling idiot, but he's heavier than what her arm can bear, especially with surprise.
- 44:20 -- Never used a gun before, never killed before. Practice practice!
s01e04 - 2006-11-05 - Cyberwoman ∞
- 2:05 -- You know, this place is a serious shithole.
- 3:40 -- He's not crazy at all.
- 4:50 -- Discusses Torchwood London, who had a battle with Cybermen.
- 21:45 -- It attacked someone. Shoot it in the face. Roll credits.
- 22:30 -- They've converted females before. Why is a woman surprising at all?
- 25:30 -- Cry baby risked the human race. bang.
- 29:40 -- So there are codes now. Code 3 opinion.
- Jack is compatible.
- 37:30 -- Jack's fucking magic wrist watch is pissing me off.
s01e05 - 2006-11-12 - Small Worlds ∞
- 1:30 -- She's using a flash? Really?
- 2:30 -- Harkness has a PTSD-flashback-dream.
- 6:15 -- The photograph being shown is the Cottingley Fairies[doesn't exist], a fake.
- 9:30 -- What's that? Someone's bleeding and coughing? Gender check! Oh nevermind then.
- 9:25 -- That chunky vomit is so fake.
- 15:15 -- It's nice that they bring up the actual stuff surrounding the photographs.
- 19:50 -- So the chunky vomit was flowers, which is why it looked so bad.
- 26:00 -- Harkness confirms his age.
- 27:00 -- Harkness' backstory.
- 28:30 -- 15 men dead, and maybe they cursed him by transferring their life force to him. Therefore he has 15 lives. He confirmed one death by saying he cannot die, and there was an episode of him being shot in the head. So two lives down. A third because of his age. 12 lives left if any of this makes sense.
- 30:30 -- He's a dick. They should have called a child psychologist a long time ago.
- 32:30 -- "The Lost Lands"
- 33:45 -- The chosen one is a sociopath and now a psychopath.
- 39:10 -- No man talks like that.
- 39:30 -- These faeries are dicks. They'll kill the boyfriend of the mother of their chosen one, making her mother unhappy then her unhappy.
- But she's a sociopath.. so she doesn't actually care.
- 43:30 -- I don't understand any of this..
- She'll live forever. Who else do we know, who will live forever?
s01e06 - 2006-11-19 - Countrycide ∞
- 1:00 -- Smart woman get a bat out.
- 1:30 -- Smart woman realises it's a trap. I like her.
- 2:10 -- Cars can drive on a flat tire.
- 3:30 -- "The Rift"? See Rifts (role-playing game).
- 4:30 -- Continuity error. It had a bite taken out of it a moment ago.
- 4:40 -- No other race in the universe? So this means Jack knows about other races in the universe.
- 6:50 -- Is that fucker, who almost destroyed the human race and threatened all life in the universe, playing the sympathy card?
- 7:40 -- Oh god, British television can do so much more than anywhere else.
- 9:00 -- I guess Jack never taught her tactics.
- Also, she did see a person. So there's a person somewhere.
- 10:20 -- Ha hah, idiot.
- 10:50 -- Miles? What's a mile? I thought this was British.
- 14:15 -- Why are they splitting up? Isn't it's modus operandi to use diversions, which indicates a divide-and-conquer, guerilla tactics, hit-and-run, ambush or other such tactics?
- 16:45 -- Were they sent off on their own with no guns?
- 17:10 -- .. and they're splitting up.
- 17:40 -- Well at least she has a gun.
- 18:30 -- .. and somehow he has a gun too.
- Distract, divide-and-conquer.. called it.
- 20:00 -- Oh god please kill her and replace her with someone pretty.
- 21:00 -- Another inch to the left would have missed her. I guess we're not talking her left, then.
- 22:00 -- The handsome doctor will take care of me. I must love him.
- 25:00 -- They protect one another.
- 25:50 -- What was he expecting in there, especially from her reaction?
- 28:20 -- Pitch black? They have a flashlight.
- 31:00 -- "The harvest" every 10 years.
- 32:10 -- Jack was a torturer.
- 33:30 -- Why wouldn't they want help?
- 35:40 -- I don't understand. Why would they want them "in a good state" if they intend to "tenderize" them?
- 36:00 -- What about this speed thing that was established earlier? I don't understand why things have changed.
- 36:50 -- Why hasn't she stepped over her handcuffs to free up her hands a little?
- 38:35 -- Please kill her and replace her with someone pretty.
- 38:40 -- Well the cop is there, otherwise I'd shoot him straight off.
- 38:40 -- They have the upper hand in this standoff. But no, she's is a pussy about it.
- 41:20 -- How many shots are in that thing? Well at least he switched to another gun.
- 43:45 -- Aww he's going to bite her.
- Dammit, didn't call that.
- 42:20 -- Wasn't she, like, shot or something?
- 45:15 -- Shaarrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
- 45:30 -- Well at least she can share bodily fluids.
s01e07 - 2006-11-26 - Greeks Bearing Gifts ∞
- 1:00 -- She's bold, and kindof kinky. I, uh, like that she stands up for herself. Except it got kindof roleplay-rapey.
-
3:15 -- I know how to throw him a surprise party.
I was doing other stuff and wasn't paying attention.
s01e08 - 2006-12-03 - They Keep Killing Suzie ∞
-
4:00 -- He's got retcon (B-67) in his blood?
- The amnesia pill magic ingredient.
- 23:00 -- I know that band from somewhere.
- 41:00 -- Except every book has a different ISBN. Every single one, including editions, softcover, hardcover etc.
- 41:30 -- As established earlier, it takes 20 minutes to get the power back on.
- 48:00 -- Captain, my captain, by Walt Whitman about Abraham Lincoln.
- There's something moving in the dark. Something coming for Jack.
- Gloves come in pairs. Maybe there's another resurrection glove.
s01e09 - 2006-12-10 - Random Shoes ∞
Trigger warning: Suicide
- Who the fuck is this guy?
- 7:14 -- Starman, by David Bowie
- Oh, he's explained.
- 27:40 -- A Dogon sixth eye?
- 29:30 -- Multiple accounts to artificially inflate a bid is an actual thing, but I can't recall the term.
- 31:10 -- Personal exchange? That's not how eBay works.
- 37:30 -- But. But.. they didn't win the eye.
- 4~:30 -- Danny Boy, by Frederic Weatherly
- 4~:30 -- Why does she care about him?!??!?!?!?!#?#!?!?#?!#
s01e10 - 2006-12-17 - Out of Time ∞
- 22:20 -- Ass.
- 36:20 -- The Good Life, by Tony Bennett
- 38:20 -- "I was born in the future, lived in your past." -- Jack
- 41:20 -- Dude, keep the girl and bring her into the fold, and fuck the ever living lust into her every night.
- 43:00 -- Jack would succumb too. Also, he's stay dead until the gas ran out, since it would continue to run.
- 47:40 - shark jumping in a single episode..
s01e11 - 2006-12-24 - Combat ∞
- 22:00 -- But earlier, weren't they worried the dudes have access to CCTV?
- 22:50 -- Oh yeah, accept a drink from one of the probably-bad guys.
- 38:00 -- Obvious Fight Club is obvious.
E12 - 2007-01-01 - Captain Jack Harkness
- 0:40 -- Japanese language. It appears that she can't speak it.
- 1:30 -- There's no way in hell this place would be abandoned.
- 3:00 -- So that light on his head.. would draw attention.
- 4:30 -- Can't access her files? That's silly.
- 5:25 -- Yep, he knew her for hours and hours and is in love with her.
- 10:00 -- He's not actually Jack Harkness, and doesn't want to share who he actually is or why he's using someone else's name.
- 11:00 -- How can an equation open the rift? They could at least have some sort of biphasic interdimensional doodad.
- 11:35 -- How handy that their battery doesn't work.
- 19:50 -- Oh, they do have a biphasic interdimensional doodad.
- 40:20 -- He was a con man, falsified Jack's records and made it seem like he was alive.
- Someone saved his life, brought him back from the dead.
- He's all gay and stuff. Meh. Gay love at first sight and all that, I suppose. It's too contrived for this episode. Also, is this establishing multiple time lines?
