*TL;DR: For 2L of mix, 2 heaping scoops for a diet, 3 for someone active or over-average.*

I've been used to thinking with Soylent: 3 meals, 2 snacks is 2L per day. How to I figure that out for Hol Food?

- 1 unit of powder needs 2.3 units of water. (Since 350/150 is 2.3, 150 powder needs 350 water.)
If I want to reverse that, it's 0.43 (Since 150/350 is around 0.43, 350 water needs 150 powder)

Checking my math: 2000 mL (2L) of water times 0.43 means it needs 860 mL of powder. Close enough; a little more is a good idea for my needs.

# The Soylent scoop (112 mL) ∞

I hate their shitty plastic scoop, so I found my Soylent high quality metal scoop. (I actually checked and it seems Soylent doesn't make these any more). However, the Soylent scoop is 112 mL!

Oh god, how many 112 mL scoops should I use? Well if I want 850 mL of powder, then I want 850/112 scoops, which is around 7.6. Fucking math.

I actually make 1L bottles of the stuff, so it's really 425/112 which is around 3.8

So I basically a bit under 4 scoops per 1L.

*But this is all wrong*, because I need to figure out powder+water mixed drink *per meal*. For Soylent it's 2L for 4 meals (3 meals + 2 snacks).

Okay, back to the Hol Food measurements.

But I still want to use the Soylent scoop! So now the easiest thing is to just compare the size of scoops. How many Soylent scoops gives me how many Hol Food scoops?

112 mL is a little under 1.5x larger (112/75), so I can just think like that. So 6 Hol Food scoops is 3 heaping Soylent Scoops.

I could do the math better, but it sounds like if I make 3 even scoops for 2L of water for 5 meals.

But really, because of the way I make it, I'm actually not using 2L of water, I'm really using that powder and mixing it until I get 2L of mix. The powder does take up some of the overall volume!

Fuck. So it's somewhere under 3 scoops to make 2L of mix for 5 meals.
