CCC 2013 ∞

I finished watching the CCC 2013 videos. It's strange they have so few views, as some of them are really great. Some are really terrible though, mostly starting half way through that monster list.

On-disk TODO ∞

I chipped away at some of my on-disk TODO stuff. I found an item from 2007. Ouch. Some things got posted up here, including editing some old posts. Other things were in code and got pushed up to github. There's no automated way for me to present details of those edits, and I won't try to do it manually.

WordPress "pages" conversion ∞

Converted all WordPress "pages" into regular posts so they can have tags.

Filed a blogtext bug ∞

I discovered that there is no way to link pages together, when those pages used to be posts. Even deleting the posts, clearing the blogtext cache and re-editing the pages doesn't work.

I updated my bitbucket avatar while I was at it. I really ought to fix my gravatar reference. Meh.

Firefox multiple-window bug ∞

I found a number of Firefox bugs related to dragging a tab out into its own window.

• Sometimes all keystrokes are redirected to the new window, even if the old window is selected.

• Sometimes control-w will not close a tab and leave one tab remaining, even if there is only one window.

So basically there is some confusion when multiple windows are up. Sigh.

I'm not even going to bother looking for or filing bug reports. This shit won't get fixed any day soon. They changed their model to make things about rushing shit through instead of releasing a quality product.

Solved video freeze issue ∞

It was linked to my earlier faulty memory or power issues.

I can now suspend, resume and play video without freezing my computer. Hurrah.

systemd ∞

When making SpaceFM out of old notes, I ported my old bookmark-research on systemd.
