Rinse each slice
- Let them drop-dry slightly; but you want them wet.

Place in an appropriate-sized pan.
- Unlike with other methods, the slices can touch with this one.
- Bring the heat to medium-high.
- Notice the wetness of the slices changing.
- Flip regularly.
- Wait for the water to begin to boil.
- Reduce the heat to medium-low.
- Flip regularly.
- Cook until somewhat browned.

If desired, pat them dry with paper towel.
Slices cooked in this way will not be burned, will be more pliable and larger.

Just some basic stuff.. something like
- 158°F for 12 hours.

125°F for 4 hours.
Another guy coated strips in salt and vinegar and dried for only 4 hours @ 160°F
