A girl escapes slavery and pulls together a band of people to go on a quest.
This outclasses other B-movies or B-TV. If you like the class and genre, you'll like this.
Followed by Mythica: The Darkspore (2015).
I decided to watch it, even though it has Kevin Sorbo. Fortunately, he's not an actual part of this, he's just lending his "star power" such as it is. I can deal with one scene.
It opens with overtones of slavery and brutality before girl power takes over.
Adheres to the classic adventure-travel fantasy: The usual races and classes, music. Scottish dwarves, of course. Unflawed acting, good comedy. Nicola Posener is gorgeous.
Others have said that this movie has a really terrible first fifteen minutes. I didn't notice. It all felt like a B-TV show to me so I was accepting of it. However, after seeing more of the film, the beginning really is terrible in hindsight.
