A one-room horror where angels descend to destroy all of mankind because god left, but a baby is to be the saviour of all mankind.
Meh. This isn't a particularly good movie.
Dennis Quaid[unknown prefix: Dominion - (2014 TV show)] is based on Legion. I wouldn't consider this movie mandatory viewing before watching Dominion. In fact, I would recommend against viewing this movie because the series is so much better.
I recognized [[en] (the diner's owner) straight off. Then I later recognized Kevin Durand.
Lots of shooting.
Standard movie sexism. Women are frail, precious and adorably incompetent. Men are brave protectors who sacrifice themselves. A couple of women do die, but they are exaggerated as possessed. Otherwise it's the men who are disposable.
This is an ok movie. Really, that's about all I can say for it. It's distantly shy of being corny, but is definitely not all that impactful on memory. It's not that it feels amateur or the story is poor, but it's as though its ideas don't translate well to the screen.
One-room movies have a particularly difficult constraint, so perhaps I'm judging this one among other movies and not among its peers. Perhaps if I did so, it would fair better.
