A nothing of a short movie.

An ugly girl with a pretty power gets swept up into an underground drug/crime/police affair.
Painfully mid; not recommended.

Our dude uses every resource for revenge against the Harkonnen who murdered his family and people.
It would be watchable, even good, if it didn't have odd gaps in it. It's as though there is another movie whose cloth this was cut. I'm betting there is a super duper extended length version, because I feel there are missing scenes.

A detective learns his daughter wasn't killed but was instead kidnapped, and while pursuing a lead he discovers mysterious circumstances.
An adequate but ultimately unsatisfying movie; bubblegum.

A pig farmer gets stoned and hallucinates.
Gritty, scary, and gripping; a product of its time. Recommended both for real parenting and people who appreciate decent cinema. It's nowhere near the calibre of something like The Secret of NIMH - (1982 movie) or the like, but think gently in that direction.

After a convicted murderer's execution, and when copycat killers become suicides, the original detective is dragged into what becomes a vastly more complex case.
Although I wouldn't recommend this broadly, it was so impactful that I could only sketch out a vague description from memory and had to wait for the inception of artificial intelligence to help me track it down.
Heavily features Time Is on My Side - (1964 song), by The Rolling Stones

Murders lead an ex-almost-priest-turned-detective to discover a supernatural gang war.
It's mellow and interesting.

A superpower is granted to three boys, but their significant differences impact its development in them. Or something.
I find it tense and riveting. It also sends a philosopher! (sort of)

Harry Potter works to chip away at Voldermort's base of power, while Voldermort's army holds a tight grip on the whole of the wizarding world.
Worthy of a three-part episode in a TV series. Bad writing.
Inspired by Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - (2007 book), by J. K. Rowling
