Something about multiple AI personalities taking over a human.

Meh.

  • Trailer
  • IMDB has a rating of 16+ which to my knowledge isn't a thing.

Following the drama of several relationships, especially a serial-dater.

Understated but riveting; recommended. I wonder if there's a decent quality copy out there.

  • Trailer
  • Inappropriately-rated, this doesn't have much of anything close to R-rated, and what came close could have been adjusted slightly without changing anything. It's odd they didn't lean into that R-rating.

An experimental undersea oil drilling rig is sent to investigate a downed US military submarine with nuclear missiles.

Phenomenal and showing very little age.

  • Inappropriately-rated; PG-13, but with self-harm and a boob.

A satellite brings back a deadly pathogen which scientists desperately try to figure out a cure for.

It's got that oldie feeling, but with enough of a timeless element to make it really riveting.

To escape a ruined future, a genetically-enhanced child is sent back in time to grow into a She-Hulk who is too ugly to date, let alone procreate, so I'm not sure why a cyborg is sent after her.

Wow this is a special kind of bad. The first is pretty good, and incredible in comparison to this. Well, it's part of a series so let's continue suffering through them all!

  • Trailer
  • Inappropriately-rated; Rated R but no blood or swearing. I guess it's for showing some thong-butt.

A Mexican crime family steals alien technology and wrecks havoc.

A mediocre superhero movie, which in today's times makes it spectacular. Highly recommended as a bubblegum movie.

A beta tester stumbles into software with a back door also used by high-level hackers.

In many respects it aged poorly, but it has a reasonable core message.

  • Trailer
  • Inappropriately rated: Suicide

Aliens arrive with human ambassadors, who struggle with a decision to return or stay.

This movie has a poor tone and struggles with abandonment and mortality; it's generally depressing. Not recommended, especially if you liked the first movie.

  • Trailer
  • Inappropriately rated: PG-13 but with suicide.

In the backdrop of a mirrored Earth appearing in the sky, a woman works through the consequences of causing a horrific tragedy.

A drama through and through, and honorifically called science fiction, this is moody and slow-paced. I liked it quite a lot, not least of why is the looks of the lead character; damn.
