Dragons suddenly rise up and raze the world, leaving an ever-dwindling number of survivors.

A good movie and worth a re-watch.

An old man is surprised to learn has has 19 year old daughter, who becomes embroiled in a web of vengeance and violence set against him.

I really like this movie. It might play out as too flat for most people, but for me the character was well-crafted and acted.

Like few movies, this explores age and power at its extreme.

Descendants of an apocalypse by monsters remained walled in their defences.

Brutal and riveting. Really great, but it's actually quite scarring so you want to be good in life before watching this.

Survivors of a ruined Earth cast away to a new Earth, aptly called "New Earth", but some people are stupid and prefer extinction (for that ship).

It had some potential, but it slid way way downhill.

After a convicted murderer's execution, and when copycat killers become suicides, the original detective is dragged into what becomes a vastly more complex case.

Although I wouldn't recommend this broadly, it was so impactful that I could only sketch out a vague description from memory and had to wait for the inception of artificial intelligence to help me track it down.

A psychologist goes insane when his wife dies, and he drags his daughter into a life of the paranormal.

A really straightforward and tame movie. It's absolutely nothing compared to the awe that 80s kids movies have, and I would never recommend it to kids with a brain.

Failed-scientists begin a ghost capturing service, and the need for their services grows, threatening all of New York city.

I don't have a lot of movies anything like this which I could consider listing as mandatory, so this one gets in pretty easily.

A boss girl discovers she is the child of an immigrant, and resolves to embrace her heritage.

Kinda boring but suitable for kids.

A disabled person is welcomed into a community which turns on him after a series of misunderstandings.

Pretty wholesome, although it stops making sense nearing the end. A good enough watch.
