A procedurally generated survival game with shitty graphics, which became popular because it was first-to-market and took advantage of nostalgia.

Unfortunately, Minecraft was never completed and the author fucked off with the money to make another game. Even with extraordinary success, the author didn't make good on promises and the game was never finished. (It would later be "finished" by having a recipe book concept and an "end"; neither of which are any good.)

I loved this game, and even bought it twice to support the developer, but because it was Java it would bring a computer to its knees. Being sold out to Microsoft (for their upcoming virtual reality stuff I'd bet) was bafflingly insulting.

I would try it again years later, and it hasn't had basic improvements.

A freemium Minecraft clone with a number of improved features.

It's prettier but has a lot of pop-in. The two block-high jump and sliding movement are unsettling. It's nice to have a list of all crafting patterns, and searching is nice. Crafting is very nice with its previews.

Overall I'd say this is a good game and an appropriate drop-in replacement for people who like Minecraft.

A space simulator fps thingy.

While it looked quite good at a glance, when actually trying it it fell flat. When a game cannot lean on cutting-edge technology, it has to have solid gameplay. It didn't feel good at all to me. I guess No Man's Sky - (2016 game) spoiled me.

An action/adventure type game, with an expansive world to explore, a huge set of skills, a lot of things to do .. and is just generally fun.

Beautiful and artistic. Very forgiving gameplay. A very linear plot. Has some unfortunate mini-games that break the general style and fun.

This is Mega Man 1 to 8 (with 9 and 10 being locked)

This is definitely better than Mega Man X Collection - (2006 game), for reasons I can't articulate. Mega Man 8 pimps the Mega Man (1994 TV series) quite hard, with a nonsense intro sequence that drags on and on.

This isn't my style of game.. I still don't understand the fact that enemies and shots can go through obstacles, and occasionally the universe will move and I'm forced to move or be pinned between the universe and the obstacles and die a horrible death.

Has Mega Man X 1-6

I'm not really a fan of this style of game.
