old notes - (version not recorded) ∞
-
Cacko 1.23 - The GUI has no save feature, and seems to not want to quit via its button. Just use the 'x'.
- Good settings: All "cycles" to 21. Skip frames: 5.

My preferences ∞
In total, I do this:
# Fix the cursor keys export SDL_QT_INVERT_ROTATION=1 # Fix the comma key: cp -f keyboardswap-off ~/Applications/cyrillica/english cyrkbdset frodo cp -f keyboardswap-on ~/Applications/cyrillica/english cyrkbdset
keyboardswap-onandkeyboardswap-offare justenglish, but with the necessary changes.-
Yes, I could make a script which edits the
englishfile in-place, but that could be messy.
It appears that the export statement lasts between reboots, so you only have to do it once. Then, I suppose you could just use the temporary keyboard swap to turn off the nokeys, and then you can just use the frodo icon. It's much easier.

Wait very patiently. It's "real-time", so it's hideously slow with loading some applications.. just like the original c64! Notice that Drive 8 is in use. If you've waited a while and nothing happens, then maybe frodo isn't happy with the application because of some setting. Maybe try 1541 emulation?
