The Tangle - (2019 movie) poster

Humanity has been infected by nanobots controlled by an AI that ends violence, which, although about as horrifying as it sounds, many people want it and some even work for it.

Slow and halting, but with a good premise. It leans heavily into acting, which isn't at the level needed to make this shine. Still, it's not a turd.

This would have made for an excellent pilot episode.

A key survivor of a world destroyed by a plague is forced to save it. I think.

It's generally slow and boring; luke warm at best, but recommended if you're into this sort of thing.

Although survivors of a ruined world struggle to survive, many turn to evil and are subject to being hunted for a bounty.

Straightforward and fair. Weakly-recommended. Gina Carano has great physics.

Following agents of a supercomputer.

It's incredibly dark, and I don't mean it's all moody and shit; it's so damned dim it's hard to make most things out.

An undergrad invents a brain-meddling machine, and discovers that meddling with his brain is a bad idea.

Calm, and focused wholly on the main character. I liked it.

Murder in Washington, D.C. - United States has been solved by precognition, except for one mysterious case.

I like it quite a bit!

Military men conspire to steal chemical weapons to threaten Seattle for money as reparations for fallen comrades, and a man is let out of confinement to help an expert disarm them.

Although the main chemical weapons premise makes no sense, it's still a good movie.

With the Earth in ruins, efforts are under way to create a colony for the rich and, for unknown reasons, a minister is sent for by its founder.

I like it and hope to see more.
