WordPress decided that a new editor was in order. It's automatic-resizing no-scrollbar thing is broken as all hell.
Steps to reproduce ∞
- type "foo"
- press and hold enter until the editor resizes and "foo" is no longer seen. Notice that the editor resizes its height.
- type "bar"
-
press control-home
Problem ∞
"foo" is not seen.
In order to look at earlier or later text, the mouse must be moved into the editor area, and the user must manually scroll with a scroll wheel.
Attempts to solve ∞
I've checked my theme, and there's nothing in it relating to the editor.
I've tinkered with the style editor built into firefox to see if there's something I can remove to get scroll bars and a proper editor back, but I saw nothing. I lack the expertise to really get into this.
I do not need an automatically-resizing editor. I'm willing to return to earlier stuff. Although I can't find the option again, I do know there is an alternate editor option buried in there somewhere.
