aka Small Frame Yang Style
There are two styles of taijiquan referred to as Wu style, which can sometimes cause a bit of confusion. These two Wu's are pronounced and written differently in Chinese.

Wu Jian Quan's Style
In order to distinguish this form from the third of the classical families, the last classical style is sometimes referred to as Wu/Hao Form.
Also known as Small Frame Yang Style. Finds it's origins in the Beijing Imperial Court where Yang Lu Chan had to create a smaller frame style to accommodate the robes of the Imperial Princes, which inhibited movement. Yang and Wu Style differentiated into separate styles in the time of Yang Cheng Fu. Wu Style is practiced softly and slowly and incorporates all the classical boxing practices.
Wu Chuan Yao's Style ∞
A descendent from the Yang's linage, Wu Chuan Yao (1834-1902) developed this style.
