- God, I hate when an episode invents a technology as an excuse for an episode’s motivation and then discards it later. Ok, so how in the heck does that toy communicate the knowledge of the brother’s death? Can that technology be used for interstellar communication? Whoops, didn’t think of that?! Totally disruptive technologies like that shouldn’t be ANYWHERE NEAR A SCI-FI SHOW. Pathetic.. bad writers, bad!

- And what was the entire point of the episode? Oh, no reason.. not setting up a plotline or anything.. no episode-length reasoning, no nothing. For some reason some odd thing wanted light, and for some weird reason it wanted it from a leviathan, and for some reason that’s different than 5 pulsars, and f.. oh whatever.
