These are good-quality gel pens.
When my Kyocera pen ran out of ink, I explored some other pens. Unfortunately, I fell in love with the Bic VelocityGel. It’s not a fancy pen, so it lacks the sort of ritualization of a very high quality pen and a pen with a cap. But its ink and the writing experience are spectacular.

I’ve only used this pen in black. My introduction was with a larger size of this ball, but I went down to the 0.7 to try to save ink and make my lines finer. I’d prefer 0.5 to be even more refined, but that’s not available. Perhaps the fact that this pen is 0.7 is why I prefer its writing experience. Maybe I ought to try the Kyocera in 0.7.
I’ve been using this pen for some time now, and have gone through many of them. Like other water-based gel pens, it runs smooth but quickly runs out.
