• Used the install ISO I had prepared earlier
• Disconnect internet to avoid the account-related stuff

• explorer.exe

  • right-click each of the secondary drives > Properties > Security > [Advanced]
    — Change the owner to the currently logged-in user.
    — [x] Replace owner on subcontainers and objects
    — Edit the “Group or user names” list to remove any invalid users and add the currently logged-in user (with full control)
• FIXME – In explorer.exe, M.2 gives “Access is denied.”
• Cannot see the second monitor; it’s been asleep throughout the install
• Enable internet

  • rename Windows ISO(s)

• keychain – run the Windows ISO creation tool >

  • (o) Create installation media (USB flash drive, DVD, or ISO file) for another PC
  • [x] Use the recommended options for this PC

  • (do not select the keychain, select some place on Windows)
• Move the Windows ISO to keychain
• Copy keychain > the-kit to Windows

• Install the-kit

  • Don’t forget to install software found in \the-kit\passwords

  • Make my preferred directory and subdirectory infrastructure
  • Make a Quick access to those various folders.
• Press win to bring up that menu, and for anything you don’t like, right-click > Uninstall

• View any pictures with the default image viewer, then menu > set as > background (etc)
