Introduction ∞

I fell in love with Within Temptation completely by accident. I had been making a habit of randomly sampling other items found nearby those which I already knew and was actively collecting. So if I was looking for artist 'x' I would look for other artists in the same collection. I figured that maybe, just maybe, if a person liked something I liked.. then something else they liked might also be appealing.

Boy was that a slippery slope. This same semi-intuitive method of collecting meant that I had such a broad range of music to sample, and I ended up finding so many other artists I absolutely adore.

I've also got a new respect for Nightwish after finding a live performance of Within Temptation's Our farewell which featured their lead singer Tarja Turunen.
