The spirit of the tiger is in the physical. It is the foundation and ground --the evidence -- for our existence in the world -- as the world.
The spirit of the tiger resides in our muscles, our bones, and within our nervous system. It is our earthiness and that which can be verified through the palpable.
The spirit of the tiger is strength and power, sensitivity and subtlety. It is assuredness and empowerment -- on many levels. The spirit of the tiger is the ability to directly manifest one's inner being in the real world. The spirit of the tiger is confidence. It is all sides of the physical, from the small to the large, from the wonderful grossness of our muscles and nerves to the incredible subtlety of our mind/body interaction.
The spirit of the tiger is about contacting the world. It is self-assertion, doing... being. It is the presentness and nowness of our body. With the tiger one reaches deeply into the material -- our material. The tiger is about command and government of the tangible aspects of the body/mind/ spirit partnership.
From the tiger we are assured, yet nature's dominion over us keeps us from becoming too large. From nature we are humbled.
The physicality of the tiger keeps the lighter less material "spirit" rooted and balanced. The tiger is our teacher. Inner awareness is our guide and connection point.
