Meatloaf hamburger patties ∞

Low fat ground beef instead makes "meatloaf hamburger patties".
Meatloaf patties
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- ½ cup chopped onion, (about ½ a small onion)
- 1 large egg

½ cup saltine cracker crumbs (about 12 crackers)
- or ½ cup bread crumbs
- or ½ cup oats, ground a little in a food processor
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ⅓ cup ketchup
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper
Topping
- ⅓ cup ketchup

3 Tablespoons light brown sugar
Stir it until smooth. Once a patty is flipped, add the topping during that cooking.
After cooking, let sit for 5 minutes.
Can also be baked on a sheet, at 375°F for 20 minutes
Makes 5 patties
