Old notes from between 2006-10-16 and 2007-09-02 ∞
collection 1, cd1, ep1 ∞
- 3:12 -- Keith Hamilton Cobb, the actor who plays Tyr, left the show to return to The Young and the Restless.
- 6:40 -- Isn't anyone noticing the disjointed images? What the heck was this bit trying to represent? It's way too strange.
- 25:25 -- Look, I could deal with the cheezy band music the first time, but this is just lame!
- 37:35 -- More of that nasty pseudo theme music crap.
collection 1, cd1, ep2 ∞
- Prescience
- 38:00 -- So how did he think he'd get away from Harper with his hands full of pieces of glass?
collection 1, cd2, ep1 ∞
- 16:40 -- Funny, because she's a sun.
- 24:24 -- That was an awesome piece of CG work.
collection 1, cd2, ep2 ∞
- 3:50 -- Reuse of footage. From the previous episode!
- 7:00 -- Ok, let's understand this airlock thing. They open the bay doors, release all of the air. Then they close it and put air back in. Then they repeat this. Where do they get all the air from?
- 9:00 -- Explain how they can all mystically link up like that. How do they all align themselves? What the heck..
collection 3, cd1, ep1 ∞
- 36:08 -- Ungh, re-use of footage..
collection 3, cd2, ep2 ∞
The brightest light is invisible.
It shines through your deeds.
And warms the universe.Chronicles of Courage and Conviction, by Captain Dylan Hunt Ret., CY 9817
collection 4, cd1, ep1 ∞
- 21:55 -- What's with the guy with the sparkler on his heel? Sad.
- 22:55 -- Uh.. shoot him in the face.
- 24:05 -- And how they have a super death squad fighter ship.
- 29:15 -- What's with that "formation"? I mean.. isn't space 3-dimensional and such?
collection 4, cd1, ep2 ∞
- 21:35 -- That's straight out of Underworld - (2003 movie) .. =/
- 22:30 -- Uh, cooling in space doesn't work like that. You see, heat is the transfer of energy from one mass to another. Space not having any mass - because it's a vacuum - means that you can't cool anything off into it. Cooling things off while in space is a pretty big issue actually.
417 ∞
- 23:35 -- No, don't bother to collect all those cool weapons or material.
- 26:50 -- Uh, he said that he BURIED his stuff.
- 32:15 -- You see, there's a problem with introducing a new superpower like this. All other episodes are rendered stupid, because for some odd reasons she chose to not use this power. Like the episode where there was lag with communication. The ONE episode. Sigh.
- 36:00 -- Uh, there was no opening in his armour. =/
- 38:20 -- They got away with one of the futuristic rifles.
collection 4, cd2, ep1 -- uh, wrong? ∞
- 10:10 -- That little flight to the moon looks so amateur-night because of the camera-shake on the background.
- 14:14 -- Mythology? It's all Greek to me.
- 29:30 -- Re-use of footage, but from a different angle. Come on.. nobody falls for that.
collection 4, cd2, ep2 ∞
- 0:30 -- That stupid Nietchian fleet entrance from starburst.. urr.. from slipstream is one over-used piece of footage.
- 35:58 -- Hey wait.. how did she know about the ship, and how did she launch it without the vaunted launch codes?
collection 5, cd1, ep1 ∞
- 4:00 -- You see, those slip fighters have these handy escape pods. So he could just eject and be all safe and stuff.
- 20:00 -- How many grabs did she make, and how many plates did she have? And why ever would she do something stupid like that anyways? Sigh.
- 40:00 -- Ok, so Tri Gemma and company decided to leave? And not destroy their enemy? Huh?
collection 5, cd1, ep2 ∞
- 2:10 -- You see, Mgog (however they are spelled) have this paralytic venom spray stuff. They don't tend to act like morons and pretend like they're being held back. Held back by a little girl.
- 15:00 -- You see, they can be found based on their communications.. since it's not all perfect and quiet and stuff. Maybe if they said something like "use our magical direct line of sight laser communications beam so our transmission can't be traced" I might believe it..
- 34:40 -- You see, nobody explained the big missile at all. Like what it was, what the technology is or came from. Hrm.
collection 5, cd2, ep1/2 ∞
Ok, this entire two-part episode is so full of holes. First, with a big gaping hole like that in arcology the people wouldn't have had such a light breeze, they would be SUCKED OUT INTO THE VACUUM. Then, it seems that the ground defence robots on Andromeda were forgotten. Then the crew are sent into escape pods to die instead of staying to fight. Then there are no automated defence systems on Andromeda. Oh. My. God.
Maybe some explanation of the strong force-destabilizing nature of nova bombs not working against the world ship might help. Why did they shoot those bombs again? I mean.. the nova bomb didn't work last time.
I guess they could technically have nuked the star in this system if they really wanted to. Hmm.
Umm.. magog can survive vacuum and not breathing air and stuff. That was talked about in the first season as I recall..
collection 5, cd2, ep1 -- uh, wrong? ∞
- 6:15 -- There's a head on the top shelf which is one of The Architect's heads.
- 31:20 -- See.. the thing is.. that was a hastily-created body wasn't it?
collection 5, cd2, ep2 -- uh, wrong? ∞
- 31:00 -- Can he control the slipstream drive and wreck the planet on his own?
- 35:50 -- That big rocketing ship going up the screen is a re-use from that big rocketing ship episode, isn't it?

CY 1015
- 3:15 -- A reference to The Young and the Restless[doesn't exist], where the actor who plays Tyr (Keith Hamilton Cobb) returned to act.
- 4:15 -- I would have destroyed all five of those ships, out of basic security. I also wouldn't trust the courier ship, thinking the ships were unmanned and the courier ship was either a bomb or had a traitor on board.
- 14:00 -- "I'm just tired of getting my butt kicked all over the universe." .. no, Romy. Then WIN.
- 19:45 -- The site of their last battle is the worst possible place to be. Scavengers would be all over the place, even fighting ovor choice parts.
- 20:00 -- Oh god that music is awful.
- 25:30 -- Aaaand, you're taking the "fleet"?
- 32:30 -- Faustian Bargain = Deal with the Devil
- 33:45 -- Why would Trigemma be there? He could have easily lied.
- 42:00 -- None of this makes any sense.

- 0:45 -- Auger, Augur? - Precognition, Prescience
- 2:15 -- I would think the precog is captive or is being blackmailed.
- 3:45 -- Wow, that entire scene was bad.
-
8:15 -- So. So perhaps they should figure out why they had weaponized robots. Perhaps they should suspect their weapons/etc upgrades to also be an opportunity for sabotage?
- Also, weren't they already being upgraded earlier?
- 15:00 -- You'd think learning your destiny would be a private matter.
- 34:45 -- God that music is bad! What the fuck were you thinking?

CY 2333
- 7:15 -- I'm really confused.. there's a gateway that they were looking at. There's a fleet. Then.. isn't there a planet? So.. how are people getting back and forth? Is the planet next to the gate? I thought Tyr was on his own home world..
- 12:20 -- Oh eww.
- 17:30 -- I'm confused again. Was the opening stuff taken from this moment in time? I hate when shows ping-pong around.

- 31:45 -- "The south has risen" is a reference to the phrase "the south will rise again" (Lost Cause of the Confederacy)
- 34:30 -- It rains death on the camp..
-
37:30 -- Well this explanation is stupid. They had a large gene pool, splitting it wouldn't matter a whole lot to variation.
