The "hum" (ground loop) ∞
Q: I am getting a "humming" feed back when I plug my S4 MidiLand 8200 v2.0 into my home appliance. How do I get rid of it?
A: All home appliances will have a ground circuit built into them; thus, when there is more than 1 appliance connected together, you will have a ground loop occuring. When a speaker system is add to this ground loop, a humming sound will occur. To remedy this problem, simply add a ground breaker (AKA Ground Loop Isolator) between the speaker system and the sound source.
