Dell™ USB Enhanced Multimedia Keyboard
- 2021-04-20 -- I had been using this keyboard and then a similar non-multimedia Dell keyboard, and after donating the 0DJ425 I went back to the plain one.

It's more expensive and features bunches of additional buttons. Plugged into Windows Vista it just magically works, which is a real plus. Unfortunately it has some media buttons which are lit at all times, and some of the buttons didn't do anything but i wasn't surprised. It has a pair of USB ports on it which was very handy for my over-short mouse cable. It's heavier and even comes with a wrist support thing which.. I'll actually use. It's a first. I'm actually liking this keyboard enough that I'd buy it as my regular replacement keyboard.

cat /dev/input/event2
Then fiddle with the volume control and other buttons to see some junk.
Penguin-breeder wrote some code to work with it.. but it's not user-friendly because it involves some kernel patching voodoo.

I'm somewhat confused as to why this is mostly like the [[Dell SK8135]]. I have neither, so I can't confirm things but the dates seem to line up with me going from one to the other.
