  • Use the “Text” widget.

• Use the “Text” widget.
• The “Custom HTML” widget has syntax highlighting which is annoying, and is in a tiny box, which is annoying, and breaks copy-paste, which is annoying.

• Use tabs, not spaces

Before copy-pasting into the widget (probably using Geany):

• Remove all tabs / de-indent (control-a then shift-tab)

  • If you use Geany, then search/replace (control-h) and “[x] Use escape sequences”

• Search for \r\n and replace with     (empty)
