How many product managers does it take to change a light bulb?
- Let's get the marketers invovled. I think we can sell this as a feature.

How many staff managers does it take to change a light bulb?
- Three. Two to hold the ladder, and one to screw the light bulb into a faucet.
-
How many managers does it take to change a light bulb?
- Three. One to get the bulb and one to get the phone number to dial one of their subordinates to actually change it.
-- Notes: Be back in a second. My phone's ringing! - We've formed a task force to study the problem of why light bulbs burn out and to figure out what, exactly, we as managers can do (short of stocking enough light bulbs to get the job done) to make the light bulbs work smarter.

How many Honeywell Terminal Management International Network Architecture Task Group members does it take to change a light bulb?
- Actually, my sources lost count on this one. First someone proposes that a light bulb needs changing. Three more present papers agreeing with this position. Nine attend the next meeting specifically to object. Four think that CII (the French computer consortium) should supply light bulbs. The chairman says that light bulbs are not an appropriate topic for discussion. Two arise in favor of light bulb discussion. Four present papers attempting to define a light bulb differently. The co-chairman dictates that any definition must be based upon the previously agreed SDP (Socket Development Protocol). One of the European representatives objects to the term "light bulb" and makes a presentation, with slides, supporting a substitute term (i.e. "electrical incandescent lamp"), which gets adopted by all of the Europeans and rejected by the U.S. A joint NATG/Planning meeting is held, at which three planning people present three different positions on whether a light bulb should have been allowed to exist in the first place. One more says that there can be no further discussion; it was agreed to at the last meeting. Another says that this is really a Session Control topic and forwards a copy of all of the papers to that committee. This is where my sources lost count because of the overlap in interest.
