I walk my own wiki, and as I do so I bump into things that can be corrected. This doesn't usually deserve a weblog entry.. but this time I'm going to make one just because it'll be the first and hopefully the last.
Aside from going on about how I'm thinking about arranging tidbit entries, I'll just note that I did a tidbit entry for the creation of doublespeak. This influenced some related topics of course, and future-impact will be that I'll be noting more of my books down.. when I get the chance.
I don't have much of a library, but I've read a few books in my time. Unfortunately, some of my favourite books are no longer with me.. and I don't even remember their titles. Sigh. Oh, and don't even get me started on the authors.. authorship doesn't matter one lick to me. I just pick up random books and they happen to be superstars. This has been a long time benefit of my intuition. I pick up books and read them when I'm ready to understand their content. It's magical.

I've been explicitly creating a library for a while now. See /tag/dead-tree-books. I've been picking things based on names I recall and on recommendations. It's slow-going, but really fulfilling.
I'm a very slow reader though, so it's intimidating.
I have shelves made beautiful by books.
