One-time change:
\setfont /usr/share/consolefonts/Uni2-VGA16.psf.gz
Permanently:
\sudo \dpkg-reconfigure console-setup
Stuff to select:
UTF-8 Combined - Latin; Slavic Cyrillic; Greek VGA 16
These settings will take effect on reboot. For immediate use, run setupcon
