Demons who feed on suffering suffer a terrible plague that threatens to starve them to death.

A unique world, great makeup/appliances and plot make this particularly interesting. I’ve heard this called noir-esque, and it really does have a style that’s similar to other movies I’ve seen. Recommended!

• All men are bad, got it.

• Oh, a Batman moment.

  • .. sortof.
• I immediately like this movie. The feel is great. The pacing is great. Everybody looks great.
• Pregnant pauses with Vine talking with Sarah. Ugh.
• “Forceably rape” .. as though there were consensual rape.

• .. the final re-enactment of Sarah almost getting raped/killed was off. He stops her from running to talk, and she says “he told him to hill me”, except no.. Vine didn’t.

Generally good, although my interest diminished later on. The ending moments seemed weak, perhaps because it started and progressed so very strongly.
