Five Things >

• Incremental improvements to items in /tag/linux-software+live+liked.

• I created /tag/abandoned and flagged some things.

  • Interestingly, if I didn’t know better I would have considered Slackware abandoned. Gotta love that FAQ entry from 1999.
• I don’t know why, but I took another look at Herrie. Apparently I still like updating defunct software that I hated at the time.

• four oh four got made. Because naming it “404” throws a 404.

  • Several pages from the old website were deleted and redirected to their equivalent here. Everything will be, eventually, probably after this software-related stuff.

• Images ought to be working properly.

  • I audited server-side backups, comparing them to recent changes.
  • I performed a rain dance.

• Git was updated with some file un-deletion notes.

  • Fucking git doesn’t have a git undelete filename.ext and git getprevious filename.ext.. as-such. It’s complicated.
