Long-term career planning is a fact of life which few people seem to fully appreciate. The goal of this project is to enlighten a reader as to how to define and strive for what they want in a career. Many simply do not know what they want, and others think they know but remain intimidated at the prospect of change. Herein lies well-intending advice to help a person learn more about themselves and how to point their career evolution in the right direction. It is hoped that with the aid of this project a reader will be able to link skills, values, interests and abilities to careers and then persue those that are most favoured.
I had persued a career workshop, and much of what is described in this project is in no small part influenced by that effort. I have been able to greater define what stuff in life that I like and in what career I would thrive.
