Based on Arch Linux and therefore uses systemd. Disqualified.
Hell, they couldn't even keep manjarolinux.org

I tried this after frustrations with ArchBang. See 2011-08-12 Linux testing nightmare.
Their advice for updating is sudo pacman -Sy
then use gnome-packagekit
.
- Their wiki has no content, and it's being spammed.
-
Their default font "Sony Sketch EF' is nasty.
- To change it,
Menu > Settings > Appearance > Fonts
.
- To change it,
- Nasty bouncy bar at the top, with the system stats. It's constantly resizing.. a huge distraction!
-
I couldn't figure out how to run 'gnome-packagekit'. This really frustrated me.
- After a lot of searching, I learned it was
gpk-application
. Inexcusable!
- After a lot of searching, I learned it was
- There's a hidden bar on the right side which is revealed by mouseover. I only noticed this on my second bootup.
- Manjaro Linux mounts and uses my swap partition by default, without asking me. I really didn't like this.
- The installer doesn't let me set any non-standard mount points.
- Has Firefox 5.0.1, yay!
- Installation stomped on my existing bootloader without even asking me, and without automatically setting up the ability to boot into my other Linux.
- Attempting to log in gives "Failed to execute login command" with my normal user, because it uses Openbox which isn't installed. Whoops.
- Zsh: backspace kills the word to the left. How come every terminal on every distribution acts differently? Argh.
- World of Warcraft on Linux - the hardware cursor looks and works perfectly! Except I'm getting crappy graphics with an odd tearing/blinking mess overtop of everything and with partially missing models.
- Rebooting, I get my CMOS, then the quick GRUB pre-bootloader string, but then GRUB throws itself into some invalid video mode. Manjaro Linux eventually booted up.

I wanted to begin troubleshooting the WoW issue I was having. When originally installing I was prompted to choose my graphics drivers. I didn't know how to get back to that screen (without reinstalling) and so I installed the proprietary ATI drivers. Rebooting wouldn't get me back to any sort of GUI. =/ Damn you, ATI!
