Istanbul is a desktop session recorder for the Free Desktop.
I couldn't compile it.

As of 2020-04-06, the latest version is 0.2.2 which was released 2007-02-21. Flagging abandoned.

~2007-02-23 - (version not recorded) on PCLinuxOS (version not recorded)
~2007-02-23 - (version not recorded) ∞
This date is from my previous content management system and is just the date of import. It does seem pretty accurate since the last release date of this program was 2007-02-21. This would also make this tested version be 0.2.2.
How to make Istanbul work on PCLinuxOS:
apt-get install libgstreamer0.10_0.10-devel pygtk-2.0-devel gstreamer-plugins gstreamer0.10-python gnome-python-extras ./configure
... checking for GNOME_PYTHON_EXTRAS... configure: error: gnome-python-extras not found ./configure: line 21833: exit: please: numeric argument required ./configure: line 21833: exit: please: numeric argument required
Even installing gnome-python-extras from source hasn't fixed this. I emailed the author, but never got a response.
