Umm, the download page said that it needed these:

• Linux 2.6.16 with GLIBC 2.4

• Intel Pentium 4, Core Duo, or other x86 chip with SSE2 support. Note that 32-bit Athlon XP processors do not support SSE2. Factor will work on non-SSE2 chips as long as it is built from source

PCLinuxOS’ toolchain is just too damned dated for me to use. Sigh.
