Multiple times in the Devuan installation I've had a graphics freeze. I can
control-alt-F3

- Don't have the installer launch VirtualBox.

- It should be associated, so you can just
double-click
it. - It will launch VirtualBox for you. If it prompts with "An older version of the extension pack..." then click "Upgrade".
- When presented with the license, scroll all the way to the bottom so you can click "I Agree".
