A series about as impressive as this sentence.
Ho hum.
Plenty of people, with various ones being the “flavour of the episode”. Maybe there’s a story arc in here somewhere.
Also, why is it called the 4400? Shouldn’t it be the 4399 after the first episode? Then 4398 after the second. Then.. oh screw it, I stopped counting.
I don’t know. The writing on this series seems off. The acting is fair, but the characters seem written too weakly for acting to really latch on and enhance them.
The series doesn’t compel me to give a flying fuck about the main characters. Maybe it’s the fact that they’re wrapped in all that mystery or whatever.
I lasted four episodes before giving up. I recognize that it ran for four seasons, but as with others if a series doesn’t grab me early on I don’t want to stick it out to see if it gets better. Most of the time a series will only get worse.
