todo – make a proper page
A particularly good scroll-and-slay type game. Pseudo-rpg, with character improvements via weapons and equipment.
Decent game. Has a fair amount of complexity but it’s manageable. The camera controls somehow don’t work for me. A bit repetitive until you get into things properly.. and then it’s fun.. repetitive but fun. Crap-assed ending.

I also had Drakengard, but accidentally got the PAL version.
- Used. Case has stickers on it, but the disk is like new.

Different kinds of button-mashing gives you super attacks. Lots of mass-combat stuff, which would be better if the camera was more intelligent. =)
Early on I found a super-sword which only did 10 points of damage a shot, but was amazingly wide and flashed with magic powers and such. I used it often enough for it to begin doing 20 points of damage a shot. Still pathetic, but it still promised super-powers. =/
I ended up getting Hahn’s spear, and it’s a DISGUSTING weapon. Except I still didn’t have a spear-wielder.
Well, it’s unfortunate that you can’t replay certain parts of the game, because they’re really cool. Beating on a mountain of enemies is always fun.
Later on, the dragon-only level in the dragon castle thingy really demonstrates how crappy the dragon-gameplay is.
The ending really demonstrates how little time was spent thinking about that gameplay. VERY RUSHED. Bad bad bad.
The game has some monotony, but is kept fairly interesting by trying to figure stuff out.
You end the game without unlocking a whole bunch of stuff. But you discover two new endings after that. I don’t know if I could bother getting through it again and again, since there was some really tedious stuff. Maybe if they just sent every difficult thing after you all at once so you could just get to the end right away? =/
