Computers > Computer security >
Absorbed from old notes. This topic isn't as interesting to me as it once was, but there are some interesting points on security I noted.. so it's worth absorbing.
Consider ∞
- Security of information - governments and technology secrets
- Citizen and civilian (both in the nonmilitary and innocent/uninvolved senses) trust in technology and it's wielders. When technology allows remote information gathering without the more physical evidence-leaving 'old' methods. (kicking in doors and taking objects as evidence)
-
Technology and information security are no longer a high-budget-only issue. Governments, companies, groups and individuals have access to some similarly-capable technologies.. it's R&D and implementation which differ.
This topic could be expanded on in a number of interesting and Dangerous ways.
