A pair of scientists learn they can push electrons back in time and can send emails.
Calm, enthralling, and deeply moving. This movie does all the right things with science fiction and time travel. It keeps the core values of the characters, lets things make just enough sense to have the audience both engaged, confused and planning ahead, and has a romantic streak to it.
Highly recommended!

35:45 — I don’t understand this movie. Why wouldn’t there already be things that have already echoed back from their future into their present from changes to their past?
- If he plans on sending those pictures back, which he should, those seem like a lot of attachments and even with reduced-quality images it would make a large-sized email.
- I’d send everything back to myself, so I could build the time machine already. Except they’re worried about “changing” things, so I’d have him send them to the older dude to delay-give them to me by a day.
- I’d also screw with having my future-self send stuff to my present-self.
- Oh oh.. an email that I’d see in my inbox but wouldn’t open until later, when I’d send it back to myself. Something fucked up. Screw reality.
- 36:30 — He’s really carrying her around that often? I guess in the future he can have a spine-replacement or some such.

- 45:00 — Well that’s a much cooler timeline.

- 56:15 — Dammit, why does every movie-motivation for a male have to be a women?
- 1:07:30 — I’m confused. That guy doesn’t look very old, certainly not older than Viktor.
- 1:14:00 — As usual, all efforts would have to lead to having the machine never built in the first place.
- 1:17:00 — Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo CRITICAL FRIENDZONE!
- 1:17:45 — Dude, adjusting time so you can get the girl is fucking horrible. That’s some sort of sick rapey shit right there man. Didn’t your future self teach your present self to not fuck around with your past self?
- 1:18:45 — Or suicide. That works, and also removes the time machine. For now.
-
1:21:00 — Oh snap, a happy ending. I’ve been told.
