This is one of those movies where any attempt at describing it will spoil it. It's magical and slow and sad. However, ultimately it makes no sense whatsoever.
A quirky and grating writer finds himself pulled into the lives of ordinary people.
A really great, well-rounded, unique movie, especially for guys, as it has a single moment of clarity that will help them understand women.
Two interns and a lovesick magazine reporter follow up on a crazy old classified ad requesting a partner for time travel.
It's not exactly a time-travel movie, science fiction, a comedy or a romance or a romantic comedy, but it does have a light dusting of everything. It's "okay".
Artificial intelligence is created but is somehow only used as a personal assistant.
Awkward and slow, and so lacking in intellectual merit as to make it far too weak a story. Science fiction chick flicks are fucking weak.
As always, Send a philosopher.
A pair of scientists learn they can push electrons back in time and can send emails.
Calm, enthralling, and deeply moving. This movie does all the right things with science fiction and time travel. It keeps the core values of the characters, lets things make just enough sense to have the audience both engaged, confused and planning ahead, and has a romantic streak to it.
When around one girl, a man repeatedly has visions of his past girlfriends.
- Properly titled X: Past Is Present (2015)
Though much/most of it is in English, the rest is in Hindi.
A brainwashed daughter and her manipulative mother practice a con to satisfy their hypergamy, but love gets in the way.
Mediocre, but worth a watch if you're fairly interested. It has some moments, but it's got a kind of campy attitude. While it has a plot, it hand-waves plot-critical character decisions. For me, this wasn't even a bubblegum-movie. It hurt my brain to sit through it, and only the blistering hotness of Jennifer Love Hewitt could keep me interested.
A failure artist finds new muse when his prize mannequin creation comes to life.
A fun and imaginative movie. Easy on the brain. It's accessible to people who don't like or want to see a "heavy" romance movie.
