Music has some notes on my taste, which apply to Trance.
I have a particular love of female vocal progressive trance. It's lighthearted and romantic. I've been listening to this style and sub-style of music for a while now. I intend to keep listening, and I like to share the things I love. Isn't that what love is? If you like my curating, then you're in for a treat.
Why not make a YouTube playlist? ∞
Because removed videos get removed from YouTube playlists, leaving a dead space and no proper reference to the original video.
Yes it would be handy for people to just autoplay a playlist though.
Here, at least the name survives.
Some would classify vocal trance as having the singing be a peripheral part of the song, perhaps as a loop. However, I also like trance-ish stuff which have a full song done in a trance style. This includes a lot of "pop" trance. I've lumped everything together. Some stuff probably counts as house.
The stuff I like seems to fall under several categories/names. I'll try to note them so I can refine my future searches.
- Progressive Trance
- Vocal Trance
- "Radio" is a term used for shorter versions suitable for radio. From what I can see, this removes the unnecessary (unrelated) intros and "gets to the point".
"Versus" is a term used for two separate songs by two different artists mixed together, at least in spirit. This isn't necessarily the same as a "mashup" which has two songs literally used. A versus-song usually has one dominant song remixed to the beat and with the background music of another.
I'll also begin noting any images I research. Because.
Why are the images all attractive women? See Male attraction and its absence of objectification. Also see Looking for more images for an adventure I had with finding an image on a Trance video.
