A cripple does science that goes bad.

This movie is a special kind of bad all it’s own. There are movies which are bad, you know it and you can point it out. For those movies you can pick them apart and agree on things or argue over what you imagine might have been done better. Morbius, on the other hand, is bad in a way you can’t put your finger on. There are pictures and they move, but the writing, acting and sound are void of substance. The audio in particular is insubstantial.

That opening scene makes no sense. What context is that from? Was it in the future, the past, his imagination? Why did the bats not hurt him?
