Ugly and awkward.

• Semi-abandoned/fractured

  • Wow it’s all over the place now. I wouldn’t consider this or any community fork as having a future I can rely on.

• 2021-02-17 – 5.1 on devuan_beowulf_3.0.0_amd64 on Virtualbox 6.0.24-139181 on Windows 10 host

I did try to get it working on via Windows Subsystem for Linux version 1 and with XLaunch 1.20.9.0 but I ended up giving up; there was some missing dependency.

# .. and more stuff?  I don't recall.

• It shits up all kinds of windows. Did they take a cue from GIMP?
• I closed various windows until I got to one that exited the program.
• Starting it now opens just one panel, and I don’t know how to re-create everything.

• The theme is fucking godawfully ugly.

  • TODO – I need to research better ones.
  • I have to restart to see each theme.
• Holy fuck, how do I add content?!
• Oh, I Window > to re-create the missing windows. Why the fuck doesn’t it just have a single-window mode?
• Window > Show levels doesn’t close that panel.
• The file picker sucks; I can’t paste a directory for it to go to..
• Hovering over a piece of media shows a preview that’s a pixilated mess.

• The aspect ratio of the playback is shit.

  • right-click on the asset > match > all

• Can’t drag-and-drop media.

  • Can copy the media, then right-click in the resources window > paste text and then paste into that text box. God damn this is stupid.

• Dragging an image into the timeline crops it to the size of everything else.

  • There is no functionality to “zoom out” or otherwise change the cropping!

• It makes $HOME/.bcast5 for some reason..

God this sucks.
