A woman, going through withdrawal, hallucinates about the man she murdered.
I wouldn’t call it great, but it has a consistent tone going for it. It’s perfectly watchable but not particularly recommended.
-
1:15 — Drugs!
- 2:30 — Drugs.
- 3:00 — Photography
- 4:45 — There are a bunch of drugs which help manage PTSD, but it’s far more effective to have real therapy. Childhood trauma would pursue that, so her medication is for recent events or something unrelated. Either way, it makes no sense for her to have a problem stemming from youth that persists and needs medication.
- 5:45 — Her hair is done up strangely. It’s looped to hide the elastic.
-
8:30 — How old is she that she’s acting like a juvenile? I guess it’s part of culture now. Maybe she’s paid off her student loans and can act out this semi-retirement lifestyle.
- 10:45 — God she really is old.
- 10:30 — That can’t be the only lady’s room in a place that hosts that many people..
- 11:30 — Why would she have an officer’s home number?
- 12:45 — Running through the forest at dusk is a good way to lose an eye.
- 15:00 — Unless the battery is completely depleted (in that case it might take a day), a phone would be available almost immediately after being plugged into a charger.
- 17:30 — Tiger’s Milk
- 19:45 — Toronto Police Services
- 25:30 — I was wondering if he was her brother.. but it looks like he’s a sneaky fucker though. Women shouldn’t keep purse carriers around for this very reason.
-
26:15 — Kensington – Women’s Health Clinic.
- “Women’s Choice Clinic” is fictional, making this a propagandistic choice unless that company changed their direction.
- 27:15 — People can feel things put in their back pocket, because the back pockets of jeans are not slack enough, and perhaps that is especially true for women’s jeans back pockets, assuming she is wearing women’s jeans.
- 31:30 — Wouldn’t the police think of bringing up her apparently-waning sanity, since she was bringing up having seen him well after he was dead?
- 33:00 — São Miguel – Azores
- 35:30 — Skype
- 49:00 — I immediately picked up on this at the beginning of the call, but it’s interesting that I noticed the clinic number right away.
- 51:00 — I hope that’s a separate building, otherwise I’d expect neighbors to complain.
-
57:30 — I assume that’s morning sickness, which is 4 to 16 weeks of pregnancy. They said she is eligible for abortion to 14 weeks, which feels pretty late to me.
- Today I learned that pregnancies naturally fail as late is six weeks after a woman’s last menstrual period.
- By the way, how old is she that she’s pregnant? See also Advanced maternal age [ 1 ]
- 59:34 — It’s strange that a police officer would act so familiar.
- 1:08:45 — I didn’t quite catch what was in her notebook, but it was in all-caps which means she’s crazy.
- 1:16:00 — She would have been able to smell burned lasagna.
-
1:18:00 — It occurs to me that she shouldn’t be drinking while pregnant.
- See Fetal alcohol spectrum disorder [ 2 ]
- 1:26:30 — She should be wearing a personal flotation device.
- 1:33:00 — He really didn’t get a good trade for his daughter.
-
1:35:00 — Don’t wade in your clothes you fucking idiot.
