The hairy-footed nephew to the town’s adventurer is swept up into the aftermath of those stories when he is left his prized ring.
It’s great for its time, but there’s no way this could have worked were it any other franchise in any other context of any other era. Most things are not explained.

- 17:30 — Aah yes, the asshole eating an apple.
- 27:15 — There is so much that is part of the books and never explained. A movie like this could never be made these days, because of all this backstory.

- 1:13:45 — Did she give up her immortality to save him?
- 1:22:30 — Wait, did he say 3,000 years ago? I thought it was 1,500.

- 1:48:15 — He should have said Goblins, not Orcs, since Goblins were established as being there when the arrow was identified as being Goblin.
- 2:37:56 — Casual misandry.
-
2:44:30 — He blinked.

I got the “Special Extended DVD Edition” which is a collection of all three movies.
It’s frustrating when a series isn’t labelled properly, so I don’t know at a glance what order things go in.
