• Asteroids

  • .. from the SL-5000 runs on the larger screen very nicely.
  • The “Menu” button even gives me shields, which *never* worked on the 5500.

  • Nice little kill everything game, in a just wrong sort of way. (snicker) Kinda like Lemmings was, in that regard.

  • Nice brain buster whose only “fault” is very tiny text. Doesn’t affect playability in the least!

  • 2007-06-16 — Installs EASILY. Doesn’t have proper volume controls in-game.. I have to crank up the volume before launching it. Forces a semi-restart on exit. Quite good gameplay, interesting ideas. Some of it is a bit too difficult to figure out – all the powerups are confusing. Definitely worth buying if you’re into this kind of game. I’m not.

  • 2007-06-16 — Great gameplay. Spectacular oldschool sound. I’d buy this if it had a game mode which was more like Bejewelled.

• Mighty Charms

  • 2007-06-16 — Easy to install. Nice simple game. But it has no sound, and I really hate having diagonal moves.

Unsorted ∞

• Shisen-Sho

  • A port of the game “kshisen” included into the KDE project. It’s a board game whose aim is to remove all the tiles. The tiles can only be removed by pairs (of equal tiles). These pairs need to be reachable by a path of no more than 3 rect segments.

• Sarien

  • An open source, portable implementation of the Sierra On-Line Adventure Game Interpreter (AGI). It is currently under development; no production-quality packages have been released. Sarien is able to execute Sierra On-Line AGI games at different levels of playability. Leisure Suit Larry, King’s Quest II and Mixed-Up Mother Gooose are some of the games that have been played from beginning to end with Sarien.
