Appears to have a good philosophy. In reality it’s over-limited to the point of making life convenient for the developers at the expense of inconveniencing the users.
For a very very long time, I’ve wanted a proper backup solution for Linux.

Continues from bootloader hell, part 2
I miss Slackware. A lot.
The problem is, I can’t remember anything of what I learned all those years ago.

What a wonderful experience this was.
First, I’ll make it clear that I don’t have a memory. I don’t even bother. So when things just “feel wrong”, I get rather bothered because I can’t think back to figure out what the heck is actually wrong with some kind of freakish photographic memory like Lord Nikon of Hackers – (1995 movie) can. Ugh, you know I’m pissed off when I hack together a clumsy sentence like that.
This is a followup to Bootloader hell.
From “Hey, it’s a nice day I think I’ll open my window.” to “It’s almost 2am, I better get to bed soon.”, here’s another Linux install and bootloader misadventure.
