The “nice guy” is an actual thing.
Although they’re everywhere, they’re hard for women to see. This isn’t about women not knowing how to recognize one, there’s more to it.

A man attracted to a woman isn’t objectifying her. Duh.
This might need to be revisited again, as it feels a little wonky at the end.. but it feels pretty good to me.

Women with low self-esteem, often the homely ones, get jealous and uppity over those they consider more attractive than them or who are otherwise being paid more attention to than them.

For men, there is an implicit “code of conduct” in combat; a “code of combat”.
Male passions describes the common thread of self-control which men share. Part of that self-control appears to be present in combat escalation.

Given a finite amount of time, only that which is most interesting is considered. This is efficient. This is also a lazy closed-minded efficiency.

When all the good of the gameplay is locked within memory and there are no current efforts which could build future nostalgia, something is very wrong.
