An IRC client.

Hey, not bad once it's been configured.

I've used XChat on and off, on a couple of distributions. I've never bothered much with IRC though, so my usage is light at best.

The marker line disappears even if enabled in the preferences.
- control-m resets it.

2009-04-02 - 2.8.6 ∞

Doesn't have the ability to cancel out of dialogues. Has no in-dialogue undo. So if you make a change, you're screwed.

Has to have its colours and hotkeys heavily customized but at least its possible.
[http://xchat-ruby.sourceforge.net/ xchat-ruby x-chat plugin] -- seems rather unmaintained.. 1.1 was released August 2003.
