I think this game has some potential, but it’s obvious that the developers didn’t actually play the fucking thing.

Great gameplay, with some cumbersomness which a good player can get used to easily enough.. but honestly.. what the fuck is with the mission goals? It’s a horrific gameplay experience to be running around kicking the shit out of things and suddenly you lose because one of your fucktard buildings got blown up, or you suddenly win and cannot keep killing shit. Geeze.

Some of the missions are so retarded as to make me whip the controller across the room in frustration.

In general, all the levels play the same. You march off and kick some ass, and random allied stuff you can’t keep an eye on will get destroyed.. nomatter how well you’re doing. Whee.

Basically any of the missions can be done completely solo, if your allies would just fuck off and let you do it without worrying about them.

Step in water = instant death. Yes, this thing can take a volley of missiles and keep chugging, but as soon as it rains..

Yes, you can choose a variety of ships. Uh.. three. And yes there are some different weapons.. all preloaded on your three ships. Not much variety.. not configurable, not very interesting. You have to try them to figure out which one’s suck for your preferences. Yes, there’s another one you can use, which you get access to 2/3s of the way in. And that’s a lot of frustration to wade through to get that fourth ship.

You get random powerups which will handily disrupt the flow of the game.

The unlockability is pretty worthless.. you get to re-view the things you’ve already seen. Wonderful wonderfulness. Or not. Mostly not.

The flight physics feel wrong.. you do nothing and you don’t fall.. you fall faster in walker mode than flying straight down.
