As this is offered by my host, I let it get installed.

While I had some issues with caching and BlogText.. they ended up just going away.

NOT RECOMMENDED .. because it I wasn't able to easily remove it from my site once it had its claws in it.

Troubleshooting ∞

[unsolved] - "There has been a critical error in your website" ∞

• 2023-05-16 - I re-installed to test it, and yeah.. it doesn't fucking work.

I force a hard refresh and it works.

However, I was lucky in fiddling with the settings and I had left the tab open and was able to disable the plugin easily.

Fiddling around.. it seems to work just fine after it figured itself out. However it would return.

The solution was to clear all cookies/caches (and log back in as admin).

It didn't work, and after farting around by moving the /wp-content/plugins/litespeed-cache/ directory away, I ended up being able to disable it. And now my website is faster.

Well.. this gets killed.

Many attempts later, it wasn't working..

I edited my .htaccess file to remove its additions.

The top of the admin pages started giving me:

Can NOT find LSCWP path for object cache initialization in /path/to/wp-content/object-cache.php

Since these files referenced LSCWP I ended up deleting:

• wp-content/advanced-cache.php
• wp-content/object-cache.php

• I don't know what wp-content/.object-cache.ini is, so I left it.

.. and things are working as-expected again.
